Member Experience
Member Experience is there to look after our members and ensure that their experience is second to none. The roles cover Customer Care Managers, Reception, Junior Care (caring for our member’s children) and Administration. Between us we ensure all member queries, complaints, feedback and departures are managed and monitored.
Lynnda Hay / Customer Care Manager / North Ryde

What does your role involve?
I look after club applications, reception and dealing with complaints. Speaking with customers and staff and making sure that things run smoothly, and if there are any issues they are dealt with quickly.
What do you love about what you do?
Everything from managing staff and seeing them grow and develop, to helping members to get the results in training.
What’s the worst thing about your work?
Cranky people, but it’s great to turn people around.
What do you do outside of work?
I love music, I play the flute, love to read and socialise with friends and family.
What has been the highlight of your time at Fitness First?
The highlight has been that I’ve made the friends that I have working for Fitness First, I’m very lucky as Fitness First have the most amazing people that work here.
What’s your advice for someone considering a career in the fitness industry?
It’s a really positive career to go down, you get to help people to achieve their goals in their own life, as well as achieving your own life goals. Helping others to grow mentally and physically.
